MACT CorroGuard-Hybrid (Advanced Hybrid Cement Repair Mortar)
Target Audience: Asset Managers, Engineers, Specialist Contractors seeking a versatile, high-performance repair mortar combining chemical resistance and ease of use for wastewater and challenging industrial environments.
Versatile Hybrid Cement Mortar for Durable Repairs in Chemical & Abrasion Prone Environments
Overview
MACT CorroGuard-Hybrid is an advanced, single-component repair mortar utilizing a sophisticated hybrid cement technology. It offers a unique balance of enhanced chemical resistance (superior to OPC, suitable for moderate H₂S exposure), rapid strength development, high abrasion resistance, and excellent workability. This versatile mortar is easier to handle than pure CAC systems while providing significantly improved durability over standard Portland cement mortars in aggressive wastewater, coastal, and industrial applications. It is suitable for both trowel and low-pressure spray application.
Key Technical Advantages
- Enhanced Chemical Resistance: Offers significantly better resistance to sulfates, chlorides, and moderate biogenic sulfuric acid (H₂S) attack compared to standard OPC mortars.
- High Strength & Durability: Achieves high early and ultimate compressive strengths (>45 MPa at 28d) and excellent abrasion resistance for long service life.
- Excellent Bond: Provides tenacious adhesion (>1.8 MPa) to properly prepared concrete substrates.
- User-Friendly: Single-component, pre-packaged mix offers easier handling and application compared to multi-component or pure CAC systems.
- Low Shrinkage: Engineered for dimensional stability, minimizing cracking potential.
- Versatile Application: Suitable for trowel application or low-pressure wet spraying.
